Investment Analyst

Position Overview:

The Investment Analyst will work under the direct supervision of the Operations Officer. The Analyst will conduct thorough research and due diligence on potential investments, including analysing market trends, evaluating investment opportunities and assessing risk factors. This role will develop and maintain financial models and monitor economic and financial news to inform investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research across asset classes.
• Provide analysis and modelling to support portfolio construction and asset allocation.
• Assist in quarterly investor reporting and internal investment committee material, including developing clear and insightful investment commentary and drafting Investment Committee notes.
• Maintain a full understanding of and compliance with, all regulatory, and client mandate requirements
• Support deal analysis for add-on investments, follow-on capital deployment, refinancings, or exit scenarios.
• Prepare regular investment reports and performance analysis for assets portfolios, highlighting key metrics, market trends and investment insights to assist in decision-making processes.
• Assist in the execution of trades, monitor market conditions and manage trade settlement processes to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment transactions.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with exchanges, custodians and other service providers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline; CFA or progress toward certification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in investment analysis, investment research, portfolio analysis.
• Experience with Python or similar programming languages (e.g., R, SQL, or VBA) for data analysis, automation, or portfolio analytics.
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and asset class dynamics.
• Communicates clearly and concisely in both verbal and written communications; strong cross-culture communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.

• Demonstrated resourcefulness in problem-solving and initiative to learn new skills
